Position Title: Accountant
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive Accountant to manage our financial records and support business decisions at Yateem Group in Dubai.
This role is ideal for an accounting professional who understands the importance of accurate financial reporting, IFRS compliance, and tax regulations. You will be responsible for preparing balance sheets and profit & loss reports, general ledger maintenance, variance analysis, payroll processing, and ensuring adherence to IFRS standards and UAE tax laws.

Key Responsibilities
As an Accountant, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Financial Record Maintenance
You will maintain accurate financial records and general ledgers to meet management and regulatory targets. You will ensure all transactions are recorded correctly and timely.
2. Transaction Recording
You will ensure 100% precision in recording daily transactions and categorizing operational expenses.
3. Payroll Processing
You will liaise with the human resources department to oversee payroll processing, salary calculations, statutory deductions, and end-of-service benefits.
4. Financial Statement Preparation
You will prepare financial statements including balance sheets, profit & loss reports, and cash flow statements.
5. Variance Analysis
You will conduct variance analysis to facilitate professional organizational reporting and budget forecasting.
6. Tax Compliance
You will utilize digital information technology tools to file tax returns (VAT) and ensure compliance with UAE regulations and IFRS standards.
7. AP/AR Management
You will manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including invoice processing, payment collections, and vendor reconciliations.
Requirements
To be considered for this Accountant position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

- Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related professional field is required.
- Professional Certification: CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Experience: Proven professional ability with a solid understanding of financial reporting and accounting principles. UAE experience is preferred.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong background in management of AP/AR, cash flow statements, and comprehensive financial data analysis.
- IFRS Knowledge: Thorough understanding of IFRS standards and financial reporting requirements.
- Tax Knowledge: Knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT filing procedures, and corporate tax regulations.
