Position Title: HR Officer
We are seeking an experienced, certified, and proactive HR Officer with retail industry experience to join our team at Arakkal Gold & Diamonds LLC in Dubai.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who understands the unique challenges of the retail and jewellery sector. You will be responsible for managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with UAE Labour Law, handling immigration processes, and supporting the full employee lifecycle.
If you have 3–5 years of progressive HR experience (with minimum 2 years in a managerial/leadership role), hold CHRM and/or CIPD certification, and are fluent in English and Malayalam, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
As an HR Officer, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Employee Relations Management
You will manage employee relations, address grievances, and foster a positive work environment across all retail locations.
2. UAE Labour Law Compliance
You will ensure full compliance with UAE Labour Law and immigration regulations. You will handle labor contracts, visa processing, and policy implementation.
3. Recruitment and Onboarding
You will manage the end-to-end recruitment process for retail staff, including sourcing, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
4. Performance Management
You will support performance management processes, including appraisals, feedback, and career development planning.
5. Policy Implementation
You will develop, implement, and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements and company standards.
6. Employee Engagement
You will organize employee engagement initiatives and team-building activities to boost morale and retention.
7. Bilingual Communication
You will use your fluency in English and Malayalam to communicate effectively with staff, resolve conflicts, and conduct training sessions.
Requirements
To be considered for this HR Officer position, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Essential Requirements:
- Experience: 3–5 years of progressive HR experience, including a minimum of 2 years in a managerial or leadership role, preferably within the Retail or Jewellery industry.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification: CHRM (Certified Human Resources Manager) and/or CIPD (Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development) certification is mandatory.
- Legal Knowledge: In-depth understanding of UAE Labour Law and immigration regulations.
- Language Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Malayalam (mandatory).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution abilities, attention to detail, and leadership qualities.
