Position Title: Associate – Banking Litigation
We are currently seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and bilingual Associate to join the Banking Litigation team at a prestigious law firm in Dubai.
This role is ideal for a junior to mid-level legal professional who understands the complexities of banking and financial disputes. You will be responsible for drafting pleadings, conducting legal research, managing case files with high precision, and supporting senior lawyers in complex litigation matters.

Key Responsibilities
As an Associate in Banking Litigation, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Handling Banking Litigation Cases
You will assist in managing banking litigation cases from inception to resolution. This includes preparing case strategies, filing court documents, and representing client interests under the supervision of senior lawyers.
2. Drafting Legal Pleadings
You will draft high-quality legal documents including statements of claim, memoranda of appearance, defense submissions, witness statements, and legal opinions. Your drafting must be precise, well-reasoned, and compliant with court procedures.
3. Conducting Legal Research
You will conduct comprehensive legal research using online databases, court records, and legal libraries. Your research will provide strategic analytical insights that support case strategies and client advice.
4. Managing Case Files
You will maintain 100% data integrity in all case files, including pleadings, case summaries, evidence bundles, correspondence, and court orders. Your organizational skills will ensure that nothing is missed.
5. Liaising with Senior Lawyers
You will work closely with senior lawyers, partners, and clients to manage case files, coordinate court appearances, and ensure accurate procedural documentation.
6. Bilingual Legal Communication
You will use your fluency in Arabic and English to draft bilingual legal documents, communicate with Arabic-speaking clients, and represent the firm in Arabic-language court proceedings when required.
7. Utilizing Legal Technology
You will use digital information technology tools and legal databases (such as Dubai Courts e-system, Westlaw, or LexisNexis) to optimize research efficiency and produce professional case reports.
