Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Geologist to join our geotechnical operations team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in conducting site investigations, geological surveys, borehole logging, and soil analysis activities for construction and infrastructure projects.
This role is suitable for candidates with strong analytical abilities, field investigation knowledge, and experience in geotechnical reporting and subsurface analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct geological and geotechnical investigations at construction and infrastructure project sites.
- Analyze soil, rock, and groundwater conditions to support engineering and foundation assessments.
- Prepare technical reports, geological logs, and subsurface investigation summaries.
- Coordinate with engineers, laboratory teams, drilling crews, and project managers.
- Support field data collection activities including borehole logging and sample recording.
- Maintain accurate records of site investigations, laboratory coordination, and field observations.
- Review geological findings and assist in preparing technical recommendations for project teams.
- Ensure all fieldwork and reporting activities are completed according to quality and safety standards.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences, or related field is mandatory.
- Good understanding of geological investigations, drilling methods, and geotechnical procedures.
- Knowledge of borehole logging, soil classification, SPT data, and groundwater monitoring.
- Strong report writing, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities for working with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to work independently on field assignments and project investigations.
- Previous UAE experience or internships in geotechnical investigations or material testing will be an advantage.
- Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and geological mapping concepts is preferred.
