Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Signage Wayfinding Draftsman / Designer to join our production and design team in Dubai. The ideal candidate should have strong technical drafting abilities, practical signage industry experience, and expertise in preparing production-ready drawings and fabrication layouts.
This role requires close coordination with production teams, engineers, and project managers to ensure accurate execution of signage and wayfinding projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed signage shop drawings, wayfinding layouts, and fabrication designs.
- Develop technical drawings, section details, and installation concepts for production use.
- Coordinate with workshop teams and project engineers for smooth project execution.
- Create visually effective signage layouts and branding elements based on project requirements.
- Revise and update drawings according to client feedback and site conditions.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications and production standards.
- Prepare print-ready and CNC-ready vector files for fabrication and installation.
- Maintain organized records of project drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience in signage drafting or wayfinding design within the UAE or GCC is preferred.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and related design software.
- Good understanding of signage systems, fabrication detailing, and technical layouts.
- Knowledge of signage materials such as acrylic, ACM, LED modules, steel, and fabrication processes.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with scale management, layer organization, and technical drawing standards.
- Experience preparing vector artwork and production-ready files for manufacturing.
