Job Overview
Capital Catering is hiring a qualified and proactive QHSE Officer to support its facility management operations in Dubai. This position is ideal for safety professionals with practical experience in implementing Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental systems within operational environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying workplace risks, conducting safety inspections and audits, monitoring contractor compliance, delivering safety awareness programs and ensuring that QHSE practices meet applicable UAE regulations and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the implementation and continuous improvement of QHSE policies, procedures and management systems.
- Conduct workplace risk assessments and identify potential hazards across facility management sites.
- Recommend and monitor appropriate control measures to reduce health, safety and environmental risks.
- Carry out routine site inspections and internal QHSE audits.
- Track corrective and preventive actions and ensure that identified issues are resolved within the required timeframe.
- Monitor contractor safety performance and verify compliance with approved site requirements.
- Support the implementation and management of Permit-to-Work (PTW) procedures.
- Conduct employee safety inductions, toolbox talks, training sessions and QHSE awareness activities.
- Assist with emergency response planning, fire safety drills and evacuation exercises.
- Work closely with clients, contractors and internal departments to maintain consistent QHSE compliance.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection records, audit reports and other safety-related documentation.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree of 3–4 years or higher in Science, Occupational Safety or another relevant technical discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience in Facility Management or a similar operational field.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or an equivalent recognized safety qualification is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of ADOSH-SF, UAE fire and life safety requirements, and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Practical experience in risk assessment, hazard identification, contractor safety management and Permit-to-Work systems.
- Good knowledge of workplace inspections, internal audits and corrective action processes.
- Strong communication, report-writing and stakeholder coordination skills.
- A valid UAE driving licence will be considered an advantage.
Salary and Benefits
The selected candidate will receive a competitive monthly salary of AED 5,000–6,000, along with applicable employment benefits in accordance with UAE Labour Law.
