About the Logistics Officer Role
The Logistics Officer will play an important role in managing and coordinating the company’s day-to-day freight and logistics operations. The position involves monitoring shipment movements, preparing essential shipping documents, coordinating customs clearance, and ensuring that import and export activities are completed smoothly.
Candidates should have practical knowledge of logistics operations in the UAE, including experience with Dubai Customs, Dubai Municipality, DP World, and Jebel Ali Port procedures.
Key Responsibilities
The selected Logistics Officer will be responsible for:
- Managing daily logistics and freight forwarding operations.
- Monitoring and coordinating local and international shipment movements.
- Preparing and managing shipping, import, export, and customs documentation.
- Handling customs clearance procedures and ensuring compliance with UAE regulations.
- Coordinating required approvals from Dubai Municipality.
