Job Description
The Homeroom Teacher (PYP) will lead a Primary Years Programme (PYP) homeroom class, deliver high-quality learning experiences, monitor student progress, and work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a PYP homeroom class and foster a supportive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Deliver inquiry-based lessons aligned with the Primary Years Programme and school values
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and support individual learning needs
- Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and staff to deliver a connected learning experience
- Build strong partnerships with parents through regular communication and parent conferences
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Valid Teaching Certification and/or Accreditation
- 2 to 3 years of teaching experience is highly desirable
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Candidates must currently reside in Dubai or Sharjah
