Position Title: Gastroenterologist
We are seeking a skilled, experienced, and patient-focused Gastroenterologist to join our expanding clinical team at Thumbay Hospital Fujairah.
This role is ideal for a gastroenterology specialist who understands the complexities of digestive disorders and advanced endoscopic procedures. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex digestive disorders, performing both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, and ensuring exceptional patient outcomes.
If you hold an MD, DNB, DM, or equivalent Board Certification in Gastroenterology, have 3–5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital setting, and possess a valid UAE medical license (MOH/DHA/DOH) or eligibility, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities
As a Gastroenterologist, your daily responsibilities will include:
1. Diagnosis and Treatment
You will diagnose and treat complex digestive system disorders including GERD, IBD (Crohn’s disease, ulcerative colitis), liver diseases, pancreatitis, and gastrointestinal cancers.
2. Endoscopic Procedures
You will maintain 100% precision in therapeutic endoscopic interventions including upper endoscopy (EGD), colonoscopy, ERCP, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and polypectomy.
3. Multidisciplinary Collaboration
You will liaise with the human resources department and multidisciplinary medical teams to facilitate professional organizational reporting and collaborative treatment plans.
4. Medical Documentation
You will maintain accurate medical documentation and strictly adhere to clinical protocols and MOH regulations.
5. Technology Utilization
You will utilize digital information technology tools and advanced medical imaging software to track patient progress and stay updated with gastroenterology advancements.
