Position Title: Customer Service Executive

We are seeking a proactive, organized, and detail-oriented Customer Service Executive to join our professional freight forwarding team in Dubai.

This role is ideal for a logistics professional who understands the complexities of import/export shipment processes, freight documentation, and international carrier coordination. You will be responsible for orchestrating import and export shipment processes, handling customer service requests, communicating with international carriers and overseas agents, and maintaining accurate shipment records.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Executive, your daily responsibilities will include:

1. Customer Service Management

You will handle multi-channel customer service pipelines related to freight forwarding and supply chain operations to meet management and corporate benchmarks.

2. Documentation Processing

You will maintain 100% precision in processing import/export transport documentation, including bills of lading, air waybills, customs manifests, and client milestone notifications.

3. Carrier and Agent Coordination

You will liaise with the human resources department, internal line handlers, ocean/air carriers, and global agents to facilitate professional organizational coordination of deliveries.

4. Issue Resolution

You will resolve transit bottlenecks, address client inquiries promptly, and preserve long-term business-to-business customer service partnerships.

5. Shipment Tracking

You will utilize digital information technology tools and enterprise resource planning software to record shipment data, track cargo positions, and log compliance files.


Requirements

To be considered for this Customer Service Executive position, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Essential Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: A Bachelor’s Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience: Previous professional experience working directly within freight forwarding or logistics operations is mandatory.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong background in management of import and export statutory regulations, bill of lading procedures, and customs manifests.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of global transport procedures, carrier booking workflows, and client retention protocols.
  • UAE Market: Prior exposure to the UAE logistics market is a distinct advantage.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent multi-tasking, verbal communication, problem-solving, and cross-departmental coordination skills.
  • Mindset: Ability to demonstrate operational excellence, navigate complex shipping schedules under pressure, and thrive in a fast-paced Dubai global logistics hub.
