Suji ka Halwa is a popular Indian dessert made with semolina & sugar syrup. In India, suji ka halwa is prepared on the special occasion or festivals.
Ingredients of Suji Ka Halwa:
- Suji( 1 cup)
- 1 cup sugar
- Ghee 1/4 cup
- Water 1.5 cup
- Cashew nut, raisins, almonds
- Green cardamom 4
Method of Preparation:
- Remove the outer green of the cardamom & grind in the mortar.
- Heat ghee in a wok & roast semolina for 4-5 minutes on medium flames.
- Keep aside. Take a pan, add water & sugar to made a syrup.
- In the same wok, add roasted semolina and sugar syrup & stir continuously to avoid lumps.
- Close the lid for 5-10 minutes.
- Now add cashew nut, raisins & almonds & green cardamom powder.
- Mix well.
- Suji ka Halwa is ready & serve delicious & hot halwa.
