Suji ka Halwa is a popular Indian dessert made with semolina & sugar syrup. In India, suji ka halwa is prepared on the special occasion or festivals.

Ingredients of Suji Ka Halwa:

  • Suji( 1 cup)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • Ghee 1/4 cup
  • Water 1.5 cup
  • Cashew nut, raisins, almonds
  • Green cardamom 4

Method of Preparation:

  • Remove the outer green of the cardamom & grind in the mortar.
  • Heat ghee in a wok & roast semolina for 4-5 minutes on medium flames.
  • Keep aside. Take a pan, add water & sugar to made a syrup.
  • In the same wok, add roasted semolina and sugar syrup & stir continuously to avoid lumps.
  • Close the lid for 5-10 minutes.
  • Now add cashew nut, raisins & almonds & green cardamom powder.
  • Mix well.
  • Suji ka Halwa is ready & serve delicious & hot halwa.
